HI! I'm Caitlin.

I’m a story artist, writer and creator. I’ve been
working in animation since roughly 2016, but long before that I was a freelance illustrator. Over the past 5 years I’ve worked in both television and feature animation, and I now feel like I have a deep understanding for the production processes and challenges of each. I also have several projects of my own currently in development.

I have love for all parts of production, really, but my deepest love is for story and character. I could talk story forever, and I’m deeply committed to creating the most real and nuanced characters on screen that I can, as well as fostering a community of artists around me that feels empowered to speak on their own lived experiences. My deepest belief is that a healthy working environment creates space for artists to bring their best selves to the table, which translates to more honest storytelling on screen.

I think the world is ready to see complex characters who deal with deep issues and difficult philosophical questions, and there is a longing in the animation community to bring those characters to life. I'm so excited to see what comes out of this next generation of creators!

Responsible for writing and storyboarding on board driven, 11-minute episodes with a storyboard partner. Responsible for posing, designing characters and backgrounds, as well as clean up and some revisions.
